Laura Caserta

Contact me at:  laura@feetoffire.org

Laura's love for worship and the arts, along with her belief that God called her to minister through the art of dance, propelled her into the Kingdom Life Christian Church (KLCC) dance ministry, where she served for five years.  She then became a founding member of the Feet of Fire Dance Company in 2005.

Laura has had some brief training in ballet and jazz at Spirit Academy of Performing Arts in Milford, CT where she has also taught creative movement and hip-hop children’s classes.  She currently serves in the KLCC children's ministry with one-year olds and has for the past eleven years.

Laura believes that to succeed in ministering through the dance (and in every other aspect of life) we must learn to let go of all of our fears, anxieties and inhibitions.  We must decrease so that God can increase in us.  We must trust that His Spirit will flow through us to touch the hearts of His people through our worship.  It is Christ in us that will enable us to do what we cannot do in our own strength. Through dance, it is her desire to use her body as an instrument to glorify God, and to minister the love, power, healing and restoration of Jesus Christ.

  Kris Conlan

Contact me at:  kris@feetoffire.org

Kris has been dancing for over 4 years as part of the dance ministry at Kingdom Life Christian Church.  Her background growing up has been primarily in gymnastics.  She attended Polly's School of Gymnastics in Stratford, CT for 6 years and competed on the Level 4 Gymnastics Team.  More recently, she has studied hip hop and African dance at the Spirit Performing Arts Academy in Milford, CT. Kris is a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children.  She is also a registered physical therapist, which enables her to contribute her knowledge and expertise of the human body (our instruments) in such a way that is helpful to the other dance company members.

Kris' love for dance comes from a love for worship, praise and intercession.  She believes that it is time to use dance for it's original purpose--to honor and glorify God.  Her favorite scripture which brings description to her life is Acts 17:28..."In Him, we live and move and have our being!"

Chelsea Duarte

Contact me at:  chelsea@feetoffire.org

Chelsea has been dancing for over twenty years, studying ballet, modern and jazz in Milford and New Haven, CT.

Dancing for the Lord is her purest and most uninhibited form of worship.  After knowing Christ at the age of sixteen, dance as a hobby became fulfilled for its purpose of glorifying Jesus.  Chelsea believes dancing for God is a privilege and total thanksgiving for the gift of His Son and the blessings of music, movement and strength.  Dancing is the joy of the Lord.

God led Chelsea to the Feet of Fire Dance Company in September of 2006, where she has been blessed with not only worship through dance, but with prayer and friendship with other sisters in Christ.  When people see Feet of Fire or any other dance honoring God, she prays they see more of who the Creator is and join in worship.  Chelsea's only prayer and goal is to further the message of Jesus's saving grace through the blessing of dance in her life.

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.  ~Philippians 4:13
